From Hoi An, we traveled by air to Hanoi -Vietnam's gracious capital city.  After visiting the famed "Hanoi Hilton", we rented Tuk Tuk's and toured around the old quarter.

From Hanoi, we took a day trip to Halong Bay where over 3,000 islands jut out of the sea.  On the way, we were able to see busy farmers working in their rice fields, planting their crops.
